The evolution of WBS
OUR THERAPEUTIC APPROACH IS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT YOU IN FEELING INTEGRATED + WHOLE.
Willard Beach Studio came to fruition 11 years ago in 2013 after a serendipitous year between Maura Reminga and Brenda Cyr holding the vision for a supportive way to collaborative to offer therapeutic classes, workshops & 1:1 sessions. Growth, insights & appreciation of our priorities where we are now has led to us becoming more clear on how we can continue to share our love of Yamuna Body Rolling, Yoga, Functional Therapeutic Movement and mindfulness beyond the walls of our original cozy studio.
Your trust and commitment have been the heart of our journey, from our in-person classes on Cottage Road before COVID, to transitioning online or in yoga pods with masks during the pandemic, or continuing to practice with us weekly online! We are profoundly grateful for the time, energy, and presence you’ve shared with us.
As our paths evolve, our shared dedication to your health and well-being remains unchanged. While this change marks a new direction, I’m reminded of a phrase I often heard with warm smiles while traveling in Thailand: "Same, same, but different." This sentiment beautifully captures the essence of this transition.
Maura specializes in addressing chronic tension, postural imbalances & stress through Therapeutic Yoga, Yamuna Body Rolling, Guided Somatic Awareness & Reiki. Therapeutic 1:1 sessions are designed to support both your longterm goals & specifically where you are on any given day.
Sessions are customized to your needs, and give you the tools and understanding to work with areas of tension, improve your body mechanics & functionality, and realign postural imbalances.
I’m experienced supporting people who experience stress, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome, trauma, and are seeking healing by reconnecting to their body.
Brenda uses a holistic approach to blend Yamuna Body Rolling, Yoga and Physical Therapy. Brenda has been a licensed physical therapist for over 25 years.
She has found that by having a regular practice combining these disciplines, many injuries can be prevented or managed independently. If you need extra help or treatment, her physical therapy treatments are always available for you.
